In the center of downtown San Francisco and just steps away from the California Cable Car turnaround, the 26-story, 499-room Holiday Inn Golden Gateway offers fantastic city views. Located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, all rooms were completely renovated in Spring 2001. It is close to everything: Two miles southeast of the Golden Gate Bridge, one mile south of Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39, one mile west of the shopping in Union Square and one mile north of City Hall/Civic Center. There is a restaurant and lounge located on the lobby level. For the active guest, there is an exercise room and outdoor, heated, swimming pool. Abundant shopping, dining and entertainment choices, are all within walking distance.
Guestrooms are presented in a traditional dÚcor with fantastic views of the bay and the city. A full American breakfast is available as well as California cuisine for lunch and dinner. Room service is available for dinner. A self-park garage is offered within the hotel at a rate of $25 per night.
